Curriculum
- BFA: Bachelor of Fine Arts Dance Performance and Choreography
- BA: Bachelor of Arts Production/Management
- BA: Bachelor of Arts Production/Management Teaching Certificate
Transfer policy: The Department of Dance will accept a maximum of fifty percent of required courses prefixed "DAN" toward graduation. Transfer credits in dance technique will be limited to no more than twelve (12) in the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and six (6) in the Bachelor of Arts degree. Credits in production, music theory for dancers and history do not transfer into the degree without a placement exam.
Note: Dance Technique placement is determined by an annual audition with a panel of Dance Arts faculty. See paragraph on "Technique Placement Level" in your catalog.
Residency Requirements
- Last 30 credit hours in uninterrupted resident credit as a major in the college from which the degree is expected.
GPA Requirements
- 2.5 for all courses prefixed "DAN"
- 2.30 cumulative
General Education Core Requirements
- No course prefixed "DAN" has been used in fulfilling General Education Core requirements.
- No course has been used simultaneously to fulfill General Education Core requirements.
